Beaujolais Nouveau update

Winter was relatively mild in Beaujolais. There was no frost, and very warm spring temperatures encouraged an early budburst in the vineyard. April was particularly warm and produced a rapid growth spurt. May was, however, unusually cool, and brought some welcome rainfall.
Flowering commenced in good conditions with the weather being dry, bright and hot.

Today, we are expecting normal yields; the berries are starting to swell. Based on the average date of flowering, we expect the harvest to begin during the first few days in September.
In conclusion: everything is taking place in the most favorable conditions.
